Jimi’s personal record attempt launches the campaign for Kenya’s countrywide planting day.
Proven before. Ready to return.
30,469 trees. One determined planter.
Jimi set the record on April 22, 2024 in Kwale County, Kenya. It took three attempts. Now the mark stands at 47,460 and he is returning to reclaim it.
The exact category is most mangrove trees planted by an individual in 24 hours. The goal is to exceed the standing record under Guinness World Records’ rules.
